Borui Zhang


Borui Zhang is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), where he is also completing his PhD in the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications. His research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and energy systems, focusing on bidding optimization for battery energy storage systems in uncertain electricity markets. His interests include optimization and game theory, as well as the application of AI techniques such as deep reinforcement learning and large language models to energy systems. His work aims to advance AI-driven, real-time decision-making in future energy systems, enabling the efficient, reliable, and sustainable integration of diverse energy resources into complex and dynamic operating environments.
